My name is Alex Benjamin. I'm with Aevi, Head of Business Development. Aevi's mission is to simplify the in-person payment space. We manage the entire value chain, from terminal and payment management to software solutions, enabling companies to deliver next-generation experiences. In the in-person payments world, this is challenging due to hardware vendors and legacy infrastructure. By owning the entire value chain, we aim to digitize and embed these experiences into platforms globally, offering flexibility from a processing perspective. Aevi orchestrates payments for customers, helping them build long-term strategies with minimal disruption to their terminals.
The key to success is a software-first approach. With an Android-based payment solution, we can integrate SDKs for biometric solutions, and not everything has to be within the payment application. Aevi’s platform, AppFlow, enables various payment acceptance methods like biometric solutions, APMs, and open banking. This flexibility is possible because we prioritize software, not hardware. Many companies use short-term solutions for revenue generation, but as technology evolves, it's clear that diverse payment solutions will drive adoption, particularly with newer methods like Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo at the point of sale.
For payment processors to succeed, they must be flexible and innovative. At Aevi, we enable them to accept Visa, MasterCard, open banking, or third-party options like Cash App and Venmo. Data is crucial in this process. With real-time data from point-of-sale terminals, merchants can receive instant support. Having this data allows businesses to take action faster and offer better outcomes. An API-first approach and data-driven solutions help us provide a better experience for customers.
