Can you start by telling us a bit about yourself and your role here?
Certainly! My name is Victor Padee, and I serve as the Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region at Aevi. My role involves driving growth and expanding our market presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa by building strong relationships with clients and partners. I focus on identifying new business opportunities and ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of our customers in the dynamic payments industry.
What made you decide to join the Aevi team as the VP of Sales for EMEA?
Aevi’s commitment to innovation and its vision for transforming the payments landscape were significant factors in my decision to join the team. The opportunity to work with a company that is at the forefront of in-person payment orchestration and that values flexibility and customer-centric solutions was incredibly appealing. I was excited about the prospect of contributing to a company that is shaping the future of payments and making a tangible impact in the industry.
In-Person Payment Orchestration In-person payments are evolving fast. How do you see this space right now, and what’s one change you’re really excited about?
The in-person payments space is experiencing rapid transformation, driven by technological advancements and changing consumer expectations. One change I’m particularly excited about is the integration of advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence into payment systems. This development allows businesses to gain deeper insights into customer behaviour, enhance security, and provide more personalized experiences. It’s a game-changer for managing transactions and how companies engage with customers.
Why are you particularly passionate about in-person payment orchestration?
I’m passionate about in-person payment orchestration because it represents the convergence of technology and human interaction in commerce. It’s about creating seamless, secure, and efficient payment experiences that enhance both the merchant’s and the customer’s journey. Being able to contribute to solutions that simplify transactions and make everyday interactions smoother is incredibly fulfilling. It’s exciting to be part of an industry that touches so many aspects of daily life and commerce.
As you step into this role, what are your top goals, and how do you plan to achieve them?
My top goals are to expand Aevi’s footprint in the EMEA market, foster strong partnerships, and drive innovation in our offerings. I plan to achieve these goals by leveraging my experience in business development to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, working closely with our clients to understand their needs, and ensuring that we deliver solutions that exceed their expectations. Building a collaborative team environment and staying ahead of industry trends will be key to our success.

What’s a fun fact about you that not many people here at Aevi know yet?
A fun fact that many might not know is that I love scuba diving and have completed over 500 dives. I’m also certified as an assistant instructor. Exploring underwater worlds is a passion of mine and provides a great escape from the everyday hustle.
If you could have any superpower to help you in your job, what would it be and why?
If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to see into the future. This would be incredibly useful in anticipating market trends and customer needs, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve and continuously innovate our offerings to meet those future demands.
